Exploring buildings and space

It is an exciting time at nursery with our children continuing their love of building.

They have been curious about famous buildings and have been busy making replicas in the nursery. As the children explore space and dimensions during their play, their conversations have been rich with the use of mathematical language. They have also been fascinated with roads, cities and maps of London. 

In the Light Room, we have been building on the children’s interest about planets and space. This will continue in the New Year with a trip to the Science Museum.
