The Hub is a directory we have created where you can find useful apps, links to websites and contact details for support services for you and your family.

Policies and Procedures is where you can find all forms, policies, nursery fees and publications.

Polio, here you will find information and links to .gov information about polio, MMR and other vaccinations, and how to find out if your child’s vaccinations are up to date.

Sickness Policy

We follow the guidance from Public Health England and the NHS. Check the NHS website for guidance, The NHS website has guidance on when to keep your child at home, home treatment and when to seek medical advice. Find out more here: Is my child too unwell for school or nursery?

If your child has had vomiting and diarrhoea they should not return to nursery or school for at least 48 hours since the last time they experienced vomiting or diarrhoea.

You should also keep your child home if they have the following illnesses or symptoms: High Temperature, Chicken Pox, Impetigo, Scarlet fever.

Volunteer

Below are volunteering opportunities for parents and carers, if you would like more information or to volunteer, please contact your nursery.

Bananas on The Beach

Bananas on The Beach is open to the local community10 am – 4pm on weekdays. Located in the heart of Burgess Park at 1st Place Family Hub (Chumleigh Gardens Nursery) we have an exciting and secure play area where children can explore sand play in the shade of banana palms!

Get a Free Book Every Month

Children under 5 years old can receive a free book every month, through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
