Nurturing our children’s love of reading

To continue encouraging our children’s love of reading, we have introduced a Lending Library and reading sacks. Our Lending Library has gone down a storm with children regularly picking out their favourite stories to read at home with their family. Thanks to the kind donations of our parents, we have a fantastic selection for our children to choose from. However, unwanted books that need a good home are always welcome.

Similarly, our reading sacks help to bring our books to life in a fun and immersive way. Each sack contains a book, puppets and props that can used by the children and their families as they read the story. The reading sacks bring our children’s imaginations to life, encourage daily reading and promote quality time between children and their parents. We absolutely love them!
